Spend more money on the inside, than the outside

I spend $100+ on my head a month. I make sure I double that on what I put into my head. Books, online courses, seminars coaching etc. Does it pay of right away? No, not even close to right away, the payoff is so far down the road it doesn’t even feel like personal development is working. But you gotta trust the process. IT (clap) WILL (clap) PAY (clap) OFF!

They go through a bad breakup and go buy fake boobs and a new wardrobe. She only changed what she looks like on the outside. The traumatic breakup stemmed from what was going wrong on the inside. My track coach in high school would always say; “Let’s put some lipstick on this pig.” He meant let’s finish this ugly workout and make it look good. Lets make it look palletable. Lets make it seem like we didn’t almost throw up running that 300m sprint for the 5th time. I understood where he was coming from, but a pig with makeup and artificial enhancements is still, porky da pig.

I used keep my car super clean on the outside, soap and water and some of the tire black armor all. But I was only going to a local house party that night. Did it make me feel good to have the car clean? Yes, but would my life have been improved more if I focused on who I was and where I was going more than being fresh at the local party.

In the bay area we call them “Scrapers.” A normal car with super duper big rims on it. I always enjoyed a nice looking scraper. Don’t be a scraper. All the “bells and whistles” in a car but sand in my transmission is foolish. Don’t be a scraper.

Let’s get 1% better everyday.

Clap for this.
