Action and Inactions
we know the saying. “You are responsible for your actions.”
We focus so heavy on the sins of commission.
But what about our in-actions and our sins of omission? Do they matter?
Ive learned this the hard way, several time over and over: You can try to hide from your problems, but you cant hide from the consequenses of hiding from your problems.
Here is an example on a small scale. When we change our daughters diaper, we throw it in the laundry room. At the end of the day i throw them in the garage so they dont stink up the front part of the house overnight. I can be lazy. Like real lazy at times. Sometimes i dont want to put the diapers in the garage because im not feeling it. Well congratulations, now when we wake up and go to the kitchen we can smell a dirty nappie. I ran from my actions, but the omission of those actions caught up with me and actually made things worse.
Here is an example on a medium scale. I knew something was wrong with my tooth. blah blah. You know how this ends.
Rarely you regret what you do, we regret what we didnt do.
